The Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce was chartered on March 23, 1964. Officers and Directors elected in April 7, 1964 were: President, Calvin Lewis; Vice President, Allen Berger; Secretary/Treasurer, Louise Sharp; Sidney Albrecht, Henry Apostalo, Del Girard, Preston Stofer, and Bill Young.
